HARK! THE HERALD ANGEL SING by NAT KING COLE Sheet Music

Christmas only comes once a year. Cliches tell people things like this all the time. Cliches are well and good, but they are not the only thing that can help a person enjoy the holidays. I have been a fan of Nat King Cole and his daughter, Natalie. The melodies of his holiday music can help a family give their own performances.

The family may not contain people who can sing. Few families do. Even a family that does not have gifted singers may still find that they can find an easy evening’s entertainment. The Christmas songs of this famous singer provide simple melodies. The piano player can read the it. People who play other instruments can also read the sheet music.  Skilled musicians may be able to put different parts of the melody together.

The sheetmusic needs to be specially ordered.  The person who orders the music needs to have a special tune in mind. He may even consider ordering more than one piece.

A Holly Jolly christmas Piano Notes

“Have A Holly Jolly Christmas” by Burl Ives has long been a favorite of mine. I remember hearing this song as a child while watching the Claymation show of Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer. The song is upbeat and catchy. It is the type of song that I cannot help but sing whenever I listen to it. Because I have heard the song so much over the course of my life, I have never needed to consult to the sheetmusic for the words. I have them memorized. I have heard other versions of the song but Burl Ives has the best rendition of the song and I just love hearing and singing along with it.

The Christmas song is a classic in my eyes.  It is friendly and brings out the Christmas spirit in me when I hear it. I can see the fat chubby snowman from the Rudolph cartoon in the green vest holding an umbrella gliding across the snow. I have many favorite Christmas songs and this one is one of them and only Mr. Ives’s version does it for me. His voice is rich, deep and musical. He sings the words beautifully.  No other singer can hold a candle to this one.

RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER by GENE AUTRY Sheet Music

Each year I listen to holiday songs during the winter season, including “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Although there are many versions of the classic holiday song, I prefer the old-fashioned version which is sung by Gene Autry. I have been listening to the song since I was a child in the seventies and whenever I hear it reminds me of many fantastic childhood holiday memories.

The song is fun, cute and catchy and best of all it has a great moral. Although Rudolph was different from the other reindeer because of his bright red nose, he ended up being the most valuable reindeer in an emergency, guiding Santa’s sleigh! The story of Rudolph was written in 1939 and was turned into a song in 1949. Autry was the second singer to sing the Christmas song and now over five decades later the song is stilled played on the radio during the holiday season. When I was a child I would play the song on the piano. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a great song to learn on the piano because it is fun to play and easy to learn. Children and adults can get the sheetmusic so they can play the song at home or for a special holiday concert.

IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS by JOHNNY MATHIS Sheet Music

There is something about hearing Johnny Mathis sing “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” that brings all the nostalgia and memories of past Christmas’ flooding back. In fact, with out this famous Christmas song, I don’t think the season would be complete. It reminds me of all the beauty of the season, the fresh snowfall, holiday lights and the stores filled with holiday shoppers. It is certainly a magical time of year.

Many people enjoy the traditional sights, smells and songs of Christmas and finding the sheetmusic for this and other popular holiday tunes will enable you to be able to play the music for friends and family to enjoy. What an amazing holiday tradition it would be to find someone in the family willing to keep these songs alive and add them to your festivities. Everyone loves to hear the Christmas classics and this is certainly one of those songs.

Perry Como - It's Beginning To Look Like Christmas Sheet Music

Whether you play the music for yourself or you use it as part of a Christmas program or family gathering, everyone remembers this popular tune and it will get everyone in the holiday spirit. The music itself is not that hard to learn and of course, as with most things, the more you practice, the better you will get.

The Tannenbaum song by Vince Guaraldi Trio

I love the beautiful music of Vince Guaraldi and the classic version of O Tannenbaum. A Tannenbaum is the German word a Christmas or fir tree and with my German heritage, this song was even more meaningful. It conjures up images from my childhood of sitting around an old fashioned tree decorated with twinkling lights and ornaments and enjoying hot mugs of chocolate. There is something magical about Christmastime and the delight of this song certainly helps to rekindle that magic.

You can purchase sheetmusic for many of the popular Christmas carols and O’ Christmas Tree or O’Tannenbaum is also readily available. This is the time of year when I like to gather with friends and family and listening to some of the old traditional music from my childhood is certainly part of the joy of the celebration. Regardless of what type of social event it might be, during the holiday season, I always have music playing softly in the background.

The Christmas Waltz (Frank Sinatra) Sheet Music

I have always loved Big Band music. I am even a fan of the Rat Pack. It is unusual for someone my age. REM started a few years after I was born. I grew up during the 80s and 90s. The punk movement and the grunge movement dominated the music scene. There was a brief interest in swing music during the 90s, but this revival did not last long. It did introduce me to bands such as the Squirrel Nut Zippers and the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies. Frank Sinatra was the leader of the Rat Pack. I occasionally enjoy the music of the Chairman of the Board.

As much as I enjoy some of Fran Sinatra’s music, I’ve never been fond of any of the Christmas music of the Rat Pack. It often seems like it was a simple. The Christmas Waltz is no exception, even though I do not care much for the tune. There are plenty of people in my family who do. They appreciate my ability to play the piano. If they request this tune, I can certainly bring it out for Christmas. If I want to play other tunes later, I can. The piano is in my house, after all.

Jule Styne - The Christmas Waltz Sheet Music

Jule Styne - The Christmas Waltz Sheet Music

The Christmas Waltz is easy to find in sheetmusic form. It can be ordered from a local music store for a few dollars. It can be ordered as part as a larger pack of music. The user can also find the same music on the Internet. The Internet websites, such as Amazon can help a person find sheet music that he wants. He can even find it for different types of instruments. No one has to find the sheet music for the guitar if he does not want to do so. The guitar is also a popular choice.

Born on Christmas Day (Kristin Chenoweth) Sheet Music

I love listening to the voice of Kristin Chenoweth. It is powerful, but not overpowering, and has a comfortable down-home feeling, especially when she sings her rendition of the beautiful Born on Christmas Day piece. The lyrics are spiritually inspiring and go along with her uplifting voice and melodic range.

As I listened to her version of this Christmas song, I could not help but think how well she would also play it on the piano, as she is an accomplished pianist.  I think the sheetmusic for this version would be really great played on the piano or other keyboard instrument, also nicely adaptable for the guitar. In fact, while listening to Chenoweth sing, I was somewhat struck with the slight country flavor she imparted to the sound. So, I think it would be very adaptable to the guitar, too.

Along those lines, getting the sheetmusic for this would make a nice addition to my own or someone else’s musical library. It would be a thoughtful gift for anyone who celebrates Christmas as a religious day, too, but would like the modern twist that comes with a song that is so nicely arranged for and sung by a popular artist of today.

Kristin Chenoweth - Born on Christmas Day Sheet Music

Kristin Chenoweth - Born on Christmas Day Sheet Music

I liked the lyrics because they recount the birth of Jesus as the story of the King of Kings coming to earth and being visited by the Three Wisemen, who could feel the power and glory as they knelt to see the baby. Accordingly, the lyrics are true to the Biblical version of the birth of Christ, as told in the New Testament. At Christmastime, this is a lovely way for us to remember what the Holiday was initially established to celebrate. I think being able to do that with music is an especially nice way to make the Holidays meaningful, while providing something beautiful to sing or listen to, as well.

Mele Kalikimaka (Bing Crosby) Sheet Music

While “Mele Kalikimaka” is a Christmas song, its subject matter leaves me in the mind of a tropical vacation rather than bells on bobtail raining or taking a walk through a winter wonderland. This 1950 hit puts a different spin on a holiday normally associated with cold weather; it is definitely strange to think about celebrating Christmas in a place where it is more likely that people would be making sandcastles instead of snow angels.

Although it has been sung by a variety of artists including Dean Martin, Bette Midler and naturally Jimmy Buffett and The Beach Boys, Bing Crosby’s version is the most popular. His unmistakable croon, along with cheery backup vocals from the Andrews Sisters (best known for their hit “Mr. Sandman”) helps to make it sound like the traditional holiday songs we all know and love, but it’s about celebrating Christmas “from the land where palm trees sway.” The title refers to greeting someone with “Merry Christmas” in the native Hawaiian language.

This version of the song is actually quite short – it only takes up one page of sheetmusic and its verse and chorus appear to be combined. To extend the length of the song to almost three minutes, these lyrics are repeated several times throughout its duration. It also features instrumentals from a full orchestra, including an accordion and a guitar with modifications made to sound like a ukelele.

Bing Crosby - Mele Kalikimaka Sheet Music

Bing Crosby - Mele Kalikimaka Sheet Music

I believe this song’s popularity in recent years is probably due in part to its appearance in the 1989 film “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” a campy and irreverent take on the preparations of celebrating the holiday with extended family. In the movie, the song is played while the main character, Clark Griswold, fantasizes about the in-ground swimming pool he plans to install with the Christmas bonus he hopes to receive from his company.

Adele – Someone Like You Piano Chords

Musicnotes and the melancholy ballad “Someone like you” by Adele is a conglomeration of woeful lyrics coupled with a battle of agonizing largo tempos and dramatic adagio stanzas. The slow and remorseful pace that carries this singer throughout the piece emphasizes the agony filled words.  The music crescendos and begins to accelerando as the singer becomes immediately defensive after her confession of love. Subsequently, the music then decrescendos and returns to its original largo pace after her realization that her poorly timed outburst of repressed love is given too late.

The music intensity fluctuates with despair and defeat, but continually keeps the constant  repetition of the piano in the background, ultimately mimicking the rapid thoughts and emotions whirling through the singer minds as she fights reality, then accepts it, then fights against it again, then admits defeat. The tempo battles itself in the sheetmusic of this Adele masterpiece because you can hear the emotions in the words and the music.

This song is a refreshing change I feel to the songs that flood the radio with empty content. The emotion in this song is genuine and pure. It is not full of revenge or hatred, but of longing and angst which are really true emotions that people experience. It carries a message of acceptance, personal reflection and looking towards the future but not forgetting the past. Not all loves end from cheating, which is a really pungent message in music. Love can fade. Simply, painfully, and leave a person longing for the flame to rekindle.  While a quick listen on the radio may not grant the song all the due credit that it is worth, Adele’s “Someone Like You” is one of the most honest songs that has been presented to fans in a long time.   It is a song that has clearly defined this singer as a true master of her art.

Where Are You Christmas -by Faith Hill Piano Notes

Listening to Where Are You Christmas, powerfully sung by Faith Hill, is a reminder of a question that everyone seems to ask at some point. I was struck by how pretty the song is, though, even though the question it asks is soul-searching and serious. I remember feeling, at some point, that the magic of Christmas felt as a child had, indeed, faded, growing dimmer each year that advanced. Therefore, the song is one with lyrics that most anyone can relate to if they are grown-up enough to be somewhat nostalgic about this Holiday season, one that is not supposed to fall short on delivering fun and wish fulfillment.

The song plaintively asks if Christmas might not be changing, just as the life of a person is changing, too. Then, in the end, the answer is that it is not so changed or lost at all, for it can be found again within the heart and soul, the place where all that is symbolized by Christmas really lives. In a sense, I felt like the question is asked and answered, all the while the beauty of the music offering a soaring feeling all its own.

I would love to own the sheetmusic and play this melody on the piano. It is also a beautiful string and woodwind piece, so uplifting and well written. There is room, I think, for lots of instruments to blend, a true symphonic presence.

Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas Sheet Music

Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas Sheet Music

Undoubtedly, Miss Hill has the perfect voice to deliver this piece as a vocal solo, but I also was struck with how beautiful it would sound if sung by a chorus. It would be well suited for performances by children, too.

I love this song, as it has the rare ability to make you think about a very pensive subject while feeling elevated by the beauty of the music as it flows effortlessly to provide an answer to the philosophic question the title asks.

The Sleigh Ride song by Leroy Anderson Piano Chords

I don’t think any song gets me going about the fun and excitement of the Christmas season quite like Sleigh Ride. The traditional arrangement by Leroy Anderson is a gem for the ages. It will never be outdated, in my opinion. Even the horse’s whinny at the end and the clomping of hooves brings smile in an era when few horses, even fewer horse-pulled sleighs, will be on the streets of cities and towns in modern day Holiday mode. Still the song is spirited, just like those prancing horses are imagined to be, and the feelings I get when listening are truly energized and happy, too.

The sheetmusic is a must for any orchestra group, as this is a song to be performed by a multitude of instruments to be at its finest. In fact, as I listen to it, I am reminded of performances over the years by every kind of orchestra from high school to the major symphony productions who call the world their stage. From London to Boston and Philadelphia, this song is always greeted with the same enthusiasm and great applause. I feel like it is the kickoff song for the Holiday Season whenever I hear it, in f act.

Leroy Anderson – Sleigh Ride Sheet Music

I think any compilation of Christmas songs for an album or self-recording, or a Holiday show, might be incomplete without this song. Whether at the beginning or end a group of songs, it is powerful and uplifting. Also it is unifying for listeners of all ages, as there are not too many people who do not identify with it and feel it is closely tied to their Christmas memories. I can still hear it repeating in my mind, long after the song has ended. It has a pleasant, pulsating melody that just has a way of staying with me, just as recognizable each Christmas as the one before, indeed of all the Christmases of my life.  Assuredly, I know it will be just as ready to be greeted with joyful recognition next season.

Winter Wonderland (Felix Bernard) Sheet Music

Although he died in 1944, Felix Bernard left a legacy through his songwriting. One of his greatest tunes of all time, Winter Wonderland, is still one I love hearing at the Holiday season. I enjoy hearing it performed by many instruments, or just one, like the piano, with vocals not always necessary. It is the melody that will forever be inspiring, I think, but once heard, the lyrics also stay in your head forever. There is something magically transporting about a winter wonderland that you just don’t forget.

It is a great song for the piano or guitar, the sheetmusic a must-have for anyone who enjoys an instrument at home. Also, for bands and orchestras, it is a beautifully arranged song allowing many instruments to harmonize and add vibrant interest.

Felix Bernard - Winter Wonderland Sheet Music

Felix Bernard - Winter Wonderland Sheet Music

I love the lyrics too, though, because when I listen, I can imagine a couple walking hand in hand, later warming by the fire, and conspiring about their future. It seems like you are let in on a secret that they share, and I feel happy for them, too. I think there is a simple message of togetherness and sharing at Holiday time that makes this song special. It is romantic, but in a classy way, and that is a refreshing touch in an era when everything is overly revealed and little things, especially, not as cherished. I feel like this song reminds me of those little things that count the most at Holiday time, and any time, and it makes me anxious to enjoy them with those I love most, friends and family. With the sheetmusic, I can create my own virtual wonderland of winter white, actual snow on the ground or not.

I enjoy listening to this song, and I would not want a Holiday Season to pass without hearing or playing it in some form, whether vocally with great accompanying sound or simply the instrumental version. It is truly an American classic, a part of growing up that every child should be exposed to as part of our trans-generational musical culture.

Wizards In Winter (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) Sheet Music

When I heard the Trans-Siberian orchestra perform Wizards in Winter, it gave me a rush that was energizing enough to last throughout the entire holiday season. I would love to see the sheetmusic for it, as it is breathtakingly exciting, with a fast tempo and a great deal of variety in the sounds. It makes you wonder how they accomplish it, actually. The sounds are an unusual blend of percussion, string and everything else, so you never can quite figure it all out. Nonetheless, it is artistically unique and beautifully blended, and it really gives your senses a jolt. I felt invigorated and really excited when listening and was curious about the other songs this group has released to date.

I think it would appeal to young people and anyone tired of the usual Christmas and winter fare. There are no lyrics, it is all sound, sound, and more sound. Thus, instead of finding myself absorbed in the meaning of the piece, I was more involved with the action it seemed to convey. It is so lively, it would be great to play while doing chores or getting the house or office ready for a Holiday party. I do think it would also be a conversation piece and, if played while entertaining, would prompt some inquiries about who is performing.  There is no doubt that it would not go unnoticed.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards In Winter Sheet Music

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards In Winter Sheet Music

There probably has not been anything quite this different to appear in this genre of music in quite some time. It is not as melodic as that of some other new age groups, to be sure. I just know that it is fun and upbeat to listen to and I think it would be a great piece of sheetmusic for any collection. It might take some getting used to, but the innovative quality is definitely something I appreciate and am happy to have been exposed to of late.

Happy Holiday Season Andy Williams SheetMusic

Happy Holidays by Andy Williams is a wonderful picture book in the version of a song. The sheetmusic would be a wonderful addition to any Christmas gathering.Irving Berlin - Happy Holiday Sheet Music

Andy brings his clear and wonderful styling to this happy and festive tune. You can almost feel the warmth of the fireplace and family as you listen to the joyous story told of Santa’s coming. Mr. Williams’s cheery and lively voice along with the backing vocals just seems to incite our excitement for “Boxing Day”. I found myself thinking, “Man it won’t be long now.”

The light and airy feel of the orchestra along with the warmth of the strings conjures up the spirit of the season.  The song’s verses were pages each dripping of the most vivid pictures and colors to be enjoyed by all that listened. I could hardly wait for the ending. I found this tale presented in melody to be one that kept me wanting more, up until the last page.

Where Are You Christmas? (Faith Hill) -=Sheet Music=- Review

Where Are You Christmas, sung by Faith Hill, is a poignant, and beautiful Christmas song. Written for Cindy Lou Who to sing in How The Grinch Stole Christmas, it is a haunting statement about how our children change as they grow, and old beliefs have to make way for new truths. Any song, though, is a combination of music, lyrics, and the voice that sings it. This song has hit the trifecta.

I adore this song, even though it has a melody that makes me want to cry. Instead of overpowering music laid behind bad lyrics, this song has a simple melody backed by light background music. The high, child-like soprano brings home the song’s message in a way that just wouldn’t be possible any other way.

Lyrics, while not necessarily all important, certainly add or detract from the music. The lyrics in this song do more than add to the music; they almost make the music. They’re telling the story of someone who is trying to find the spirit of Christmas. It has deserted her, and she is trying to re-arrange her thinking so she can find it again. Instead of asking her parents, though, she is, basically, praying for the answer. It’s very poignant because the child knows she has changed, that she is not the same as she used to be.

Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas Sheet Music

Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas Sheet Music

Faith Hill is one of my favorite singers. She can pull off gorgeous ballads, love songs, and even somewhat amusing songs. The choosing of her to sing this song was a stroke of genius. Her voice is so soft while still being strong enough to carry the melody, and she adds a great deal of emotion that not everyone would be able to add.

Even if you have never seen the movie, or if you think you don’t like Christmas music, you should at least give this song a chance. Sheetmusic for Where Are You Christmas is available online if you would rather have the music without the lyrics.

My Country, ‘Tis of Thee (America) by Traditional English -=Sheet Music=-

My Country, ‘Tis of Thee sheetmusic is very enjoyable. I personally believe it to be a wonderful example of how perfect authentic cadence can be heartwarming. This song has a very profound and recognizable melody and warm chords that I found to be pleasing and patriotic, reminding me of the country that the lyrics speak of and that the song was written for. The song is very moderate in dynamics and tempo, until the ending, which is characterized with an increase in volume, and the chords become quite emphasized, leaving me with a great sense of happiness. This song is for America, as the name implies, and represents it quite well, speaking of the land past and the triumphs of American people. The song is in a major key, and follows a simply elegant progression that anyone can enjoy and respect.

What is most noticeable in this song is that the sheetmusic is quite simple, allowing for anyone with basic knowledge of notation to understand the flow and melody, however the piece is also deep enough to allow for musical interpretation and alteration on behalf of the musician, as is apparent when one looks at how many arrangements there are of this song, all having something different to represent while still keeping the same overall message. I can not think of a more inspiring song that both represents accomplishments we’ve made as well as the world we live in, and although I was not in the mood for a major key, this song calmly put me in the mood for one with its flowing chord progression and distinct melody that reminded me of when I first had heard this song in my childhood. My Country Tis of Thee America is a common memory, a song that is a piece of many minds today.

Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus) by Chris Rice

The greatest thing about Chris Rice’s “Untitled Hymn” also known as “Come to Jesus” is Chris’s voice.  The man has pipes. I find that when I listen to his voice, I am moved in ways greater than his lyrics. There is a certain kind of religious quality to his voice that stirs both the heart and the mind. This, I believe, is largely due to the meaning he finds in the lyrics. Though these words could be conveyed with beauty and candor, they are driven forth with passion by Rice. There is an elegance, too, to his emotional output that cannot be captured on sheetmusic. Rice’s voice and vocabulary go hand in hand in creating an incredibly stirring devotional that one can sing along with or simply enjoy as a listening experience.
The music is beautiful, and the sheetmusic is a great showcase of this. This is the kind of song that would be great on piano, accordion, calliope, or anything so long as one makes certain to sing the proud and joyful words.
And about the message, I find myself unable to tackle emotionally the devotion that Chris Rice puts forth in his ushering that we the listener come to Jesus and accept him as our Lord and Savior. This is exactly the kind of song that Christmas needs, rather than the droll kind of tunes that typically populate holiday radio by the likes of Mariah Carey and the rest.

Chris Rice - Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus) Sheet Music

Chris Rice - Untitled Hymn (Come To Jesus) Sheet Music

I would like to imagine a world where we listen to songs like “Hymn” for more than just nice background music. I like to think that the message of the song will penetrate as time goes on and that people will, with time,  begin to understand what it is he is truly singing so deeply about. That’s my hope.

For Good by Stephen Schwartz -=Sheet Music=-

“For Good” is a that I find myself having a great deal of trouble getting into but gradually coming to understand the depth and beauty of its construction. The melody, which has a certain kind of mystical property (befitting of its appearance in Wicked) encapsulates a lot of what makes the song so interesting. It is complicated, but not overly difficult to understand. Rather, it requires of the listener a keen sense of openness when listening to it. Stephen Schwartz’s sheetmusic is a great example of this unique musical construction. Though it can be played solo, it really shines in a larger, more complex arrangement, one that makes demands on both the listeners and the performers.

The song is catchy, no doubt, and that is certainly because of its origin in the musical. That said, it is not the kind of song I think I would be singing in the car on the way to work. This may have something to do with the kind of spirit that the song encapsulates. The music is absolutely beautiful and the lyrics are fun, but the song requires a certain amount of attention and connection back to the musical Wicked to truly shine. For me, this means that it is not the type of tune that I would play without having the lyrics in front of me or without watching a recording of the musical.

Stephen Schwartz - For Good Sheet Music

Stephen Schwartz - For Good Sheet Music

Rather, it is the kind of song I would prefer to hear played live, particularly on piano, and one sung by a crowd or by a powerful voice. To listen to this on a compact disc would simply diminish the beauty of its complex construction and its charm. The song is something spectacular, but it takes a number of listens to truly appreciate what it is Schwartz is achieving in the short span of time the song lasts.

“River Flows In You” By Yiruma -=SheetMusic=-

“River Flows in You” by Yiriuma is a gorgeous sheetmusic. As a piano composition, I find that there is a certain delicacy to it that cannot be found in other piano focused instrumental pieces. The gentlest of playing is required in a song like this and the Korean star is absolutely fantastic for this. There is a certain rising quality to the piece that makes it so enjoyable and so emotionally moving.

What I find most exciting about this particular piece of music is the way in which the melody dances along and the Korean language vocals (in some versions) accentuate the emotion behind the song. It is a song that can be appreciated without having to understand the words. That in particular is the beauty of the piece. Often times instrumental pieces suffer from having no area to expand into, but this man’s work is not only beautiful in itself, but it is an incredible foundation for words, thoughts, or prayers.

Yiruma - River Flows In You Sheet Music

Yiruma - River Flows In You Sheet Music

It is the kind of song ot listen to on a Sunday morning, especially as the tempo changes midway through the song and slows down. When this moment comes, and the original melody begins to return, there is a certain waking action that I feel. As a piece of sheetmusic, this song is the kind of thing that everyone should hear, and it is the kind of music that needs to cross international borders. There are so many beautiful things in this world that need to be heard and understood from other cultures and peoples, and this is one of them.
As a music listener and fan, this is the kind of piano music I want to hear more of. If possible, I would have “River” appear on satellite radio, top 40, and everything else because it is a beautifully constructed song that needs to be heard.

Blessings by Laura Story-=SheetMusic=- Download

The song Blessings by Laura Story is probably one of the most beautiful and inspiring songs ever recorded by a Christian artist. She has an incredibly wonderful voice and the lyrics are so uplifting that I think anyone would recognize the power and blessings of God in their life after hearing this. Many times we tend to get discouraged or feel sad because of our circumstances, but Blessings is a reminder that we are not alone nor abandoned.

The sheetmusic for this song can be used to provide a great addition to church groups, worship services or even your own personal music and devotions. I personally love to play this song when I am relaxing in the evening. I already know that I am blessed, but Ms. Story does such a fabulous job with this song that it really helps me focus on the many gifts God has given me.

I think it is important to keep Christian music in the home, especially since I have young children who can benefit from the uplifting and powerful messages. Even when they do not realize it, I often find my kids humming or singing the lyrics to some of their favorite Christian recordings. Fortunately, it is easy to provide them with great music such as Blessings and it is something that stays with them and on their minds throughout the day.

Laura Story - Blessings Sheet Music

Laura Story - Blessings Sheet Music

Hopefully as my children get older, they will find that they can turn to these great recording artists and enjoy the many benefits that Christian music has to offer. With the comforting and inspiring lyrics, music has a tendency to help us realize that God is always with us. Even when we feel down or alone, we can put on some uplifting or praise music and at once feel more connected to our Lord.

Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant-=SheetMusic=-Download

Breath of Heaven is a beautiful song written by Amy Grant. She is mostly known for her inspiring Christian music, as she is known as the queen of christian pop, and this song is very religious although you can’t classify it as pop music. This song is part of her 13th album, Home for Christmas, and so it is sheetmusic about Christmas in a religious perspective. When you listen to the lyrics of this song it is not hard to see the theme. I think that this song is about the virgin Mary being chosen to carry the son of God, Jesus. This song is perfect to play during the holidays to celebrate the birth of the son of God, and if you are not religious then it is very nice to listen to just for the beautiful and soothing notes and lyrics.

Amy Grant - Breath of Heaven Sheet Music

Amy Grant - Breath of Heaven Sheet Music

The album that this song is included in reached number 2 on the billboard top 200 and with songs like this one, it’s not hard to see why. A few people have created some controversy over whether or not the high notes that the singer pitches are absolutely necessary. Well I can tell you that this is a song of emotion and is beautiful to listen to no matter what. Besides being a joy to listen to, this song really illuminates supposedly how difficult it must of been for Mary to go down the path she was chosen for. But this is not a song of sorrow, it is a song of hope and joy with the light of heaven illuminating the darkness she must have been feeling. In that way, it is a song we can all relate to because everyone has gone through trouble in their lives. In conclusion, breath of heaven is an inspiring and joyful song to listen to.
